Practical AI education belongs in every neighborhood. Robin4TheHood is building its first in-person youth pilots in Homewood and Hazelwood, Pittsburgh. We are seeking local hosts, volunteers, funding and donated technology so young people can learn, create and share useful work with AI.

We bring approachable AI literacy, digital skills and access to technology to Pittsburgh young people and families facing barriers to opportunity. We start by listening to residents and working with trusted neighborhood organizations. Privacy, safety and human judgment guide every session.

Unshaken Voice Productions supports Robin4TheHood with AI expertise, technology development, educational programs, curriculum and products. Robin4TheHood brings these resources into community learning and access.
We are seeking funding and donated materials to put devices into learners' hands, establish usable community workspaces, and deliver AI literacy education, talks, workshops and school programs in Homewood and Hazelwood.
Meet Unshaken Voice ProductionsRobin4TheHood is a separate nonprofit with its own leadership and administration. Unshaken Voice Productions is a technology and program-support provider. Contributions support Robin4TheHood's community work and are received through Robin4TheHood's own PayPal account.
Programs
Practical learning for real community needs.
Our first focus is Homewood and Hazelwood. We are preparing in-person talks, introductory seminars, school programs and guided workshops, followed by small youth project labs. We are seeking accessible host spaces, instructors and learning devices. Pilot dates and venues will be announced after local arrangements are confirmed.
AI Literacy Talks
Plain-language introductions for young people, families and community groups: how AI works, where it helps, and when to question it.
Hands-on Workshops
Practice useful prompts, check sources, protect personal information and build everyday digital confidence with patient in-person guidance.
Youth Project Labs
A planned sequence of supervised sessions where small teams design, test, improve and share a useful AI-assisted project.
Neighborhood Partners
Co-design sessions with residents, youth organizations, schools, libraries and community hosts in Homewood and Hazelwood.

Help shape an introductory AI session and a small youth learning lab. We are looking for a neighborhood host, youth and family referrals, volunteer guides and usable equipment.

Bring AI literacy into a familiar community space. Help us understand local priorities and design a practical learning experience alongside existing neighborhood programs.

Our longer-term goal is accessible community technology centers where people can use shared devices, learn with mentors, build useful things with AI and eventually publish or ship their work.
We will begin in partner spaces and grow as funding, local demand and capacity support it. Permanent centers are a future goal.

We are seeking volunteer instructors, patient digital guides, and people who can help with accessible venues, event setup, and community outreach. Tell us your skills, location, and availability so we can discuss a useful role.
